BBM akan tersedia di iOS dan Android [NEWS]

Bagi penggemar BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), ada kabar menarik karena BBM akan tersedia juga di iOS dan Android.

BBM dijadwalkan akan tersedia pada iOS dan Android pada pertengahan tahun ini, gratis pula. Beberapa waktu yang lalu juga pernah terdengar rumor tentang BBM multiplatform atau tersedia di operating system selain BlackBerry.

Apakah yang ini juga sekedar rumor? Sepertinya tidak (mudah-mudahan :D) Jadi nanti kita bisa download dari Google Play dan Apple AppStore.

In the first version of multi-platform BBM, iOS and Android users are expected to be able to experience the following BBM features:

• The immediacy of BBM chats 
• Multi-person chats
• Voice note sharing
• BlackBerry Groups, where BBM users are able to set up groups of up to 30 people and share calendar, photos, files and more

Cara Mudah Test Kondisi IR Remote Control

Cara mudah test kondisi IR remote control TV, radio, AC dan sebagainya dengan menggunakan camera Android. Sebenarnya bukan hanya dengan camera Android, camera pun bisa. Tak juga membutuhkan aplikasi tambahan untuk melakukannya, cukup aplikasi camera saja. Tak kurang dan tak lebih :D

Nyalakan camera, arahkan ke IR remote dan tekan tombol apa saja diremot. Akan kelihatan tuh kalau ada tombol yang error. Kalau nyala semua, berarti remote kondisi OK, nah kalau mati semua? Ganti baterai wekz kali aja cuma batre habis.

Trus kalau gantri baterai hasilnya sama saja? Ya beli aja universal remote.

Facebook Home [Android Apps]

Facebook Home! Yang satu ini bikin banyak orang penasaran seperti apa tampilannya. Banyak yang bilang pasti bakalan keren, bagus dan sebagainya. Banyak pula yang memprediksi “ah paling juga gitu-gitu aja” atau bahkan “pasti bikin lemot, boros batre” dan sebagainya. Yang pasti Anda yang nyasar sampai ke sini pasti karena penasaran juga kan? :D

Facebook Home sudah dirilis, Anda bisa mendownloadnya di Playstore. Bagaimana hasilnya? Baguskah? Kerenkah? atau justru kecewa? Anda sendiri yang menilai :D

Loh kok ga ketemu nih saya cari di Playstore? Jika Anda tidak menemukannya saat Anda masuk ke playstore melalui aplikasi Playstore jangan heran karena Facebook Home limited device, alias tidak semua atau mungkin belum semua device support Facebook Home. Informasi lebih detail mengenai Facebook Home termasuk device apa saja yang sudah mendukung bisa Anda simak dimari.

Saya tidak punya device yang tertera disitu, lalu bagaimana mas bro?

Tested by me dan berhasil di HTC Wildfire S. Jika Anda bertanya prosesor 800mhz bisa tidak yak? Jawaban saya "Wildfire S prosesornya cuma 600mhz mas bro :D " Yang pasti Facebook Home bisa jalan di minimall Android 4.0

Uninstall dulu original Facebook beserta messengernya jika ada kemudian install Facebook app dan Facebook Home yang Anda download tadi. Jalankan Facebook, masuk ke setting kemudian centang pilihan Enable Facebook Home.

Selanjutnya Anda sendiri yang menentukan bagus atau tidak, menarik atau tidak, smooth atau lambat, terus Anda pakai atau uninstall :D

Easy Way To Upgrade From Default Python 2.4 To Python 2.7

You have Linux server with Python 2.4 by default and You want to upgrade it? Here you go. This an easy way to upgrade from default Python 2.4 to Python 2.7.3. I'm not expert on Linux but this way is works for me and it will not collide with your default Python. To run your bot, you're using python2.7 instead of python.

Login to server using ssh client like Putty or whatever is. Check python version, if you see 2.4.x then go step above to upgrade.

1. mkdir tmp (you can change "tmp" to whatever you what. its just a folder name)
2. cd tmp
3. wget http://www.python.org/ftp/python/2.7.3/Python-2.7.3.tar.bz2 
4. tar jxf Python-2.7.3.tar.bz2 
5. ./configure
If you get the following error:
configure: error: no acceptable C compiler found in $PATH
do this step:
- yum install gcc tcl tk sqlite-devel readline-devel gdbm-devel
- yum install tkinter ncurses-devel libdbi-devel tk-devel zlib-devel
- yum install openssl-devel bzip2-devel

go to /tmp/Python-2.7.3 directory (cd /tmp/Python-2.7.3) then repeat step 5 again. Wait until finish then go to next step


6. make
7. make altinstall prefix=/tmp/python2.7.3
8. cd /tmp
9. ln -s /tmp/python2.7.3 /tmp/python2.7
    

Now time to setup bot file. Upload, extract and configure your bot then follow this step to run your bot!!
- screen [enter]
- alias python2.7=/tmp/python2.7/bin/python2.7 [enter]
- python2.7 bot/bot.py [enter]
- close your ssh client
- violaaaaa.....

PS: if get the following error with "yum" like this -bash: yum: command not found, try this;
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install yum rpm

Many people want to run bot on server, but we know that we can't use daemon on Cjb anymore. Then what we're gonna do?
